Rutnin Eye Hospital participated in the PTHP 10 Volunteer Medical Unit Project, providing eye health check-ups for monks and the general public, as well as vision screenings for students. The event took place at Phra Pok Klao Hospital in Chanthaburi

Rutnin Eye Hospital was one of the ophthalmic clinics participating in the Volunteer Medical Unit Project, organized by the Medical Governance Foundation and students from the 10th Executive Medical Governance Certificate Program. The event was held at Phra Pok Klao Hospital, Chanthaburi Province, on May 20-21, 2023.

The team, led by Dr. Sanpatna Rutnin, Director of Rutnin Eye Hospital, Mr. Ty Leeaphorn, Managing Director, and Ms. Pichamanch Rutnathepee, Deputy Director of Medical Administration, included ophthalmologists and staff from Rutnin Eye Hospital. They provided eye health screenings and vision assessments for monks and the general public.

The project was supported by New Eye Co., Ltd., which supplied advanced medical equipment to ensure accurate and effective eye disease screenings. These included an OCT machine for retinal imaging, an Auto-RK device for measuring corneal curvature, and an Air Puff tonometer for non-contact intraocular pressure measurement.

Additionally, HOYA Lens Thailand contributed by producing eyeglasses for students with vision problems, enabling them to achieve clear eyesight and improved quality of life. This initiative was part of the hospital’s commitment to better eye care in the community.
